Week 29: Baby Shower!

Hi everyone! Happy Thanksgiving!

The baby shower was a huge success. Thanks so much for those that helped us out in getting ready for the big day. A speacial thanks to those that drove in from Long View and Walla Walla. It was great to have a full house and overnight guests. The nursery is now full with all sorts of cool stuff.

Amy is hanging in there. After failing the initial glucose test, the major glucose tests were passed with flying colors. No Diabetes! We should have some more body weights for the twins in the next week or so. Once they hit 5.5 lbs, then we know the risk is way down for complications.
We are hoping that the babies wait until at least Jan 10 (36 weeks), so that they mature as much as possible. Of course thier maturity would be relative to my own maturity ;)

BTW... Did I mention at the baby shower that Gin and Scotch is not a good mix. Yikes!
Enjoy the photos.

Cheers,
Jason

Week 26: 2.5 and 2.1 pounds and counting.

Hi all, Week 26 has brought some good news. The bed rest is working wonders and everything is progressing smoother now. As you can tell from the picture, the animals just love having Amy home all the time. They just don't understand why she can't play with them. We are hoping that the babies will wait for week 36. That would be January 10, 2007.

Amy's baby shower is Sunday Nov 19th. We plan on making a registry on Babies-R-Us.
