Holiday Update
Kristina, Tyler and their pal Zachary.
me and my good buddy Kyle.
Kids riding around like crazy on their Striders.
Merry Christmas!
(I knew I should have dressed up. The kids wouldn't stay close to Santa without Mommy and Daddy.)
Hi all.
A brief update.
Kristina is consistently using the potty at least once a day. Hurray.
Tyler, for the first time since the last post, has now used the potty again.
They seem to be catching on. hopefully it will progress quickly.
We look forward to seeing family in CA.
For those who we are staying with, I've made a spreadsheet with my food allergies.
http://spreadsheets.google.com/ccc?key=0AkpKb7dY_52ldGxOQ3JnSVVjZzR0MFI0ajZsWXA5OEE&hl=en
If the food isn't on the list, it is probably OK. I've been eating more Pork and Lamb lately.
Mexican food has become an easy goto.
Cheers,
Jason

BIG NEWS!
Amy is Pregnant!
No fertility drugs this time!
It is a bit early to be sharing, but I just can't keep my mouth shut.
We plan on waiting until the big day to find out what sex it will be. We already know it is 1 baby this time. It's name will either be Spencer or Elizabeth.
This is a wonderful surprise!
(looks like we are getting that 3rd row seating vehicle just in time)

Newport, OR
Pictures by Eileen( Grandma Vincent ) during her trip to see the kids:
Mom and me at the Lighthouse. The Kids are out cold in the car with Mommy; swatting the flies.
Can't tell with a still shot, but Kristina is knocking down Daddy's castle. Kristina the Destroyer! Super fun.
The family at the Newport aquarium.
Back home smelling the roses.
Tyler mastering his Strider.
Show off that dimple boy.
Mom squeezed in for a family photo.
Cold and windy, but still sunny and beautiful.

updated pics.
Finally some more pictures. We had lost our camera charger and had no way to take more pics; excuses, excuses.
We recently had a fun day at the Oregon Children Museum. Way back in June, Great Grandma Westlund made a trip up. They are growing up so fast! Grandma Vincent also made a trip up north. We all went to Newport OR for a nice weekend at a beach hotel. The aquarium was pretty cool. (Hey mom, send me some of those pictures you took.)
This coming weekend the whole family is headed out for a weekend in Sunriver, OR with the McDougald's. That will be a HOOT! (hoping that Zackary is feeling better, and didn't get anyone else sick.)

Happy Summer!
Hi all!
Spring has come and gone. Time to celebrate our country's independence by blowing up a small part of it... YEAH!
Here are some long awaited photos of our trip to Disneyland. (in reverse order)
What a great family vacation.
After a long day... out for the count.
That is one happy child.
Missed the whole story book ride. At this time of day Fantasy Land either has sleeping or crying kids.
Kristina and Tyler just LOVED "It's a small world"
Doing what Tigger's do best.
Kristina would have nothing to do with the 6ft tall characters.
Tyler did all he could to get a hug.
The evil witch on the Cinderella ride was perhaps a bit much for Kristina. AHHH.
cool glasses kid. (3D glasses for a bug's life movie.)
Kristina and Tyler just loved the carousel... we did it probably 3 or 4 times. About every time it came into sight, there was no getting past it.
Tyler meeting Mickey Mouse face-to-face. He walked right up and gave a big hug. Truly a dream come true.
Look this way Tyler! Kristina... where are you going?
Sugar high in 3... 2... 1...
Tyler's first time driving.
Their first Disney ride, the Jungle Cruise.
TONS of people! The first night at Disneyland, trying to get past a parade. Decided to stop and watch.

Endoscopy - news pending.
Hi all!
Last Friday I had an upper endoscopy completed to investigate my swallowing issues. For those that haven't heard, for the last 7 or so years I've been having some issues with swallowing. It had gotten progressively worse over the last few months so I finally decided to do something about it.
They took 3 separate biopsies to determine the cause of the swelling. In the process of pushing past the narrow section, the scope created a 5cm tear in the muscle tissue. It is just a tear and not a perforation - thank goodness. I'm on a semi-liquid diet for the week while it heals. I hear it is a great way to loose weight. I guess that depends on how many beers, milk shakes, and ice-cream sandwiches I eat and drink. Early speculation from Dr Do, suggested that it might be a possible allergic reaction to something in my environment. The biopsies will give a better determination within a week. I'll keep you all posted.
The kids are doing AWESOME. They love hunting for Easter eggs. They even like to just look for them, knowing they are empty. The hard part is getting them to sit around the corner without peaking. They say... "no peaking" in the cutest voice. (video coming). They are talking more and more. Tyler just loves to tell us how his day went. 80% is in his twin language, but occasionally we understand a word or two. They have been getting better and better on their Strider bicycles. Sometimes Kristina will even glide a little. Time to go buy some knee pads.
We had a pretty good heat wave here over the weekend. We busted out the water toys for them to play with. Kristina just thought it was a hoot to dump a cup of water on Tyler's head. She did not like it much when Tyler returned the favor. Tyler liked to sneak up behind me and poor a glass down my leg. While the kids were playing, Amy planted her garden; as always it filled up faster than she wanted. We look forward to some fresh veggies in a month or two.
Yep... that's me, probably about 30 years ago. Kristina's face with Tyler's hair.
Uncle Scott having a blast with the kids.
Greg and Elle Itoh - good pals from School.
Kyle and Zack - Welcome to the NW!
Uncle Scooter and the kids enjoying the fire pit. mmm smores.
Tyler, ready to hit the slopes.
mmm... this egg had M&M's in it. See... it melts ON your mouth, not just IN your mouth.

Howdie
Hi all.
Well I finally became a pop-culture Internet user and joined Facebook. It is a lot of fun, actually. I was able to find some really good friends that I hadn't talked to in a while. One bad side of it... I just spent several days looking for friends.
This last month has been full of good times and bad. The winter season Day care colds are in full force. The whole family has been trying to knock off this last cold for 2 weeks.
I managed to escape with my good buddies Kyle and Peter to Solitude, Utah for a long weekend ski trip. That was a real blast... Minus the head cold that ended up clogging my ears when the flight home descended. A week later my ear finally cleared. We had so much fun, that we took just 1 picture. I'll share that later.
Some more recent pics.
always ready to smile for the camera.
Cute smile Kristina. Note that Tyler has the same hair calic in the front as me.
All the sign language training pays off in one moment. I love you too buddy.
Kristina just loves reading about Mickey Mouse.
The boy, refusing to take a nap, 10 minutes later, collapses on the couch.
Be sure to look us up on Facebook. facebook@thevincentfamily.com
